Fill a PDF form
Open a fillable PDF, type your answers into its own boxes, and download the filled file. It all happens in your browser.
Your PDF stays on this device. Nothing is uploaded, and nothing is saved after you close the page.
This tool fills the form fields in your PDF on your device. It does not check that your answers are correct or complete, and it does not run the form's own scripts, so totals and formatting are not calculated for you. Before you send or sign, open the downloaded file and check every page. For tax, immigration or legal forms, follow the instructions that come with the form.

Questions
Why does my PDF say "Please wait... your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document"?
It is a dynamic XFA form. Open it in the free Adobe Acrobat Reader on a computer. This tool tells you when a file is one.
I filled a form and the answers are blank in Adobe or when I email it. Why?
The app that filled it did not write the answers into the page appearance, or the file has an old XFA layer. This tool rebuilds the appearance of every box you change and removes the stale XFA layer from hybrid forms.
Why can't I type in my PDF?
It has no form fields. This tool shows 0 fields and says so.
Should I flatten before sending a W-9 or other form?
Flattening locks the answers. Keep an unflattened copy in case you need to change something.
Is my form uploaded or saved anywhere?
No. It is processed in your browser, works offline, and nothing is stored.
